I've been a Penn State fan for over 40 years and was at the Wisconsin game on Saturday, while I'm glad they one, they still have lots to work on, they should win their next 4 games (Ball State, Auburn, Villanova and Indiana), all at home, then comes their game at Iowa.
If they can go 6-0, I might start believing they are playoff contenders, but they can also get destroyed in the Shoe on October 30th, only time will tell!
Total yards: 359-297 Wisconsin
Rushing Yards: 174-50 Wisconsin
First Downs: 29-11 Wisconsin
Third Down Conversions: PSU-3/13 UW-7/21
Fourth Down Conversions: PSU-0/1 UW-2/3
Total Plays: 95-51 Wisconsin
Punts: 6-7 Wisconsin
Penalties: PSU-7/79 UW-7/42
TOP: 42:24-17:35 Wisconsin
PSU was +3 in turnovers and had the blocked punt...basically the only reasons they won the game. If you play 10 games between these two teams with the same stats as above, Wisconsin wins 8, maybe even 9 of them.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but let's not act like this was a great, playoff-level showing from the Nittany Lions
Pitt lives rent free in your head. You even have to troll a Pitt thread because you are so consumed.
“Living rent free” - have you seen just how much better Penn St is than them and how much they’ve owned them in their last several matchups? I own multiple properties and claim primary residence in Pittsburgh, so I’m surrounded by many of their idiot fans. I shut them all up very quickly, especially when we talk about that game in 2018.
If there was ever a time where a football program should have been really gotten the death penalty and been forced to disband forever it was Penn State.
