There's funk, like George Clinton, and there's funk, like an overcrowded subway car. According to George Preti, Ph.D., of the Monell Chemical Senses Center, only one is caused by a complex cocktail of sweat, skin and bacteria. Not anymore they wash the street with some kind of Lemon flavored chemicals now. The alternate between Lemon and Berry every other week. I do have to say that the early morning urine/vomit/feces combination did add some character to Bourbon.
