We’re a mixed bag, but it’s important to remember that people from Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Afghanistan are also considered white by the current definitions. I do think we need another category.

There were many other protests that were broader in scope, but I’m referencing the specific one organized by the Yemini bodega association (or whatever term they used). No need for condescension. Thanks for your copy paste abilities from the ACS website. Gods work.

It’s not copy and paste, it’s actually manual.

"Families" is a subset of "households," even before the two-earner point. That might make you feel a little better.

I find there's two definitions of "White" in American society

1) "White" meaning of purely European descent

2) "White" meaning anyone who looks White and has White skin

Number 2 has prevailed in American society for a very long time which is why MENA people, Jews, and light skinned Mestizos are considered White. However this is changing with POC identity, you now have MENA and light skinned mestizos identifying as POC more and more. I think "European American" will start seeing more mainstream usage as people of non-european descent start distancing themselves from Whiteness entirely.

^^^ Would be great to see where Arlington, VA is here as a "city". My guess is top 2. But of course it's technically a "county", even tho functionally a small city.
