This spring Sunnybrook SD 171 will have a referendum on the ballot. Please find out the facts and make an informed decision when you go to the polls. There are info meetings being held in the area now.

Yes, and it failed. If it fails again this year, then there will be major cuts made in the district.

Some staffing cuts were made this year, mainly at the elementary level. The major cuts will begin next school year.

Some info sent to me from the Sunnybrook Referendum Committee..."The What's Best for Sunnybrook Kids Committee is holding its final public informational forum on Monday, March 23rd 630 p.m. at the Glenwood-Lynwood Library at 19901 Stoney Island in Lynwood. If you would like to join the committees email list, volunteer for the committee or if you have questions about the referendum please either attend the forum, email them at Best4Kids2009@yahoo.com"
