I am planning on moving to the Barrington area. My daughter will be 3 in Dec. We currently live in Singapore and they start school here at 18 months, which she has been attending. The standards for education here are very high even for young ages. The school she currently attends teaches the age appropriate material plus, 3 languages, music, art, science, and gym. The kids enjoy it and learn A LOT! Additionally the student/ adult ratio is 4to 1. Are there any high quality, educational preschool in the area that people would recommend. Are there waiting lists for these schools? Thank you.

I could suggest look into St Marks day school in Barrington Hills, or Montessorri School on Barrington Rd, or The Childrens House (also Montessori) in North Barrington. Yes, sometimes there is a waiting list so I would call soon. Quest School is in Palatine (neighboring town) and has a very good reputation as well. I do not know if they meet your high standards as in Singapore.

I'll iterate nanannie's suggestions.

Quest Academy in Palatine accepts qualified 3 year olds and is probably the closest thing to what you are looking for, in the general area.
