Does anyone know of any trails that allow off-leash dogs in the Barrington area or the Long Grove/Kildeer area? In Lake Forest/Lake Bluff, we have Lake Forest Open Lands that permits members to walk off-leash dogs in most of their preserves.

I am unaware of any trails in the Barrington area that permit off-leash dogs. There has been a significant uptick in coyote activity in the Barrington area. My Nextdoor neighborhood site has dozens of posts just from the past couple months regarding coyote activity and attacks. One neighbor recently posted a sign from an area park that instructed trail users to not leave the trail and keep all dogs leashed as there are coyote dens nearby.

Interesting. I do think that my dog's 150lb size would scare off most coyotes, however.
