My wife and I are thinking about buying a house in either of these suburbs. I would be taking the Metra and she would be driving to Riverwoods everyday for her work. We would be interested in hearing opinions of both suburbs. Thanks in advance.

If it is down to traveling times, Buffalo Grove wins it, but be aware that NCS Metra that serves BG have very limited number of trains during the day and no weekend service. Miss your 7:27 am train to Union Station and then your next one is at 9:42 local.
