I've been obsessed with the C7 section on corvetteforum.com the past few days. Very exciting over there with people taking delivery of their new C7s.

God, I love this car. I'm thinking of ways to get the CFO (aka wife) to let me buy a $60K vette in a year.

For your viewing pleasure...

The chrome wheels are hideous. No chrome on any serious sports car.

Black isn't much better... kind of trashy, imo, but less than the chrome. I'm assuming you can get them in non-hideous alloy, just might have to special order and wait.

The exterior styling is still a point of contention for me. I like how it looks from the side, but I hate the front and back of it. Just not a fan of angular styling for the most part, Lamborghini is about the only manufacturer I know that can consistently pull that off. I'm sure one of my neighbors will have one soon to give it a good lookover.

How 'bout a YELLOW C7 with BLACK WHEELS to match my SSR?

It was reviewed on "Motorweek" on PBS yesterday. I like it except for the Camaro looking tail lights.

On style alone, I would take a C5 over a C6, or C7.
Bob.
