This past weekend was my first trip to Charlotte. I was there for a friend's bridal shower and bachelorette party. I didn't have a lot of time to look around but I did spend an hour or so on Sunday driving around my friends' neighborhood (my 2 best friends live there)...Riverbend. I loved it! I actually went into one of the models and got some information from Mattamy about their availability, construction, etc. It was all very exciting. My husband and I will be going back there in June for the friend's wedding and I plan to setup some appts that Thursday and Friday. Are there other great neighborhoods near Riverbend that I should consider? I really like that area and would prefer to be close to them. Thanks so much!

That is in the Mountain Island Lake area. LOVE that area. Still kinda rural for now...but that will be changing soon. Plus you can be Uptown in 20 minutes.

We almost bought a home there a few months back...but decided to stay Uptown instead.

Total wrong end of the metro area if she wants to be near her friends. That is 45 min away with no traffic.

Default Overlook

Check out Overlook. It is just a couple miles from Riverbend and is a great neighborhood with access to Mountain Island Lake.

Also Mountain Isle Harbor (Mecklenburg County) & Stonewater (Gaston County) about 1 mile or so from Mountain Isle Harbor. Both nice neighborhoods are nice.

Preservation Pointe (Mecklenburg County) is my favorite and is the nicest neighborhhood in that area but pricey!

GOOD LUCK!
