Can the locals share their thoughts on the Indian trail area? As far as schools and community.

The area is popular with many newcomers. Schools are pretty well regarded. Traffic is an issue during rush hour if you have to get back into Charlotte. The most popular neighborhood for families seems to be Brandon Oaks

Depending on where you settle in indian trail you will feed into 1 of 3 school clusters. Sun valley, porter ridge, or weddington (brookhaven subdivision).
