Leo is 14. I inherited him when my dad died last year. I got Raven (the long hair, 2 1/2 years old) and Shadow (tabby, 2 years) from a shelter in Oct 09.
I was told Raven was a ragdoll mix. While she has fur that doesn't seem to mat, I don't see any other ragdoll characteristics. She looks more Persian or Himalayan to me. Anybody out there who can provide insight? I love my little diva no matter what she is, but I'm curious.
she looks like a ragdoll to me. Is she very social and not shy? ragdolls have distinct personalities. But I have 2 from the same litter and one is shy and hides when people come over while the other runs to the door like a dog to greet everybody.

She is very much a "one human" cat. She loves me and is very vocal with me - not just meows but other cute little noises. But doesn't really like other people and in fact has become quite scared of new people. I think it's because she had a hard time with my move to TX and all of the service people who came to my house. But even before that, she liked me and didn't care too much for others.
Maybe she is a ragdoll mix after all. I always thought ragdolls had white paws and went limp when you picked them up. She doesn't go limp when I pick her up, but she does have fur that (fortunately) doesn't mat.
Hi I am new to this particular forum. I am an older lady somewhat disabled and my husband is away from home a lot so I just adopted a cat 3 weeks ago to be my companion.
This is Spice she is a beautiful Bengal mix kitty with a super sweet personality, she is 5 years old and her previous owner, who died, had fed her only people food. She was 20 lb when we got her and she is now on a diet.
