I have been taking care of a very sweet people friendly stray cat outdoors that is more than likely under a year old that found me back in January giving her food and water in my balcony since then and I had no idea that she was pregnant until four days ago when she gave birth. I was immensely surprised because I thought she was simply gaining a little bit of weight but it turned out that she had her first litter of only three kittens who are so adorable.
The problem is that I had absolutely no plan in keeping her and even less having four cats altogether. But I have a really big heart and I am taking good care of her and feeding her as well so that she could nourish her babies.
She is a very sweet cat and I really want to find someone that can adopt her with her kittens.
I really don’t want to give her to the Humane Society because I don’t want her in a cage that’s the thing. I have read that stray cats that have kittens are best outside is that true? I mean she was pretty much trying to get inside my apartment for a while and she always looks through the balcony screen door window wanting to come inside and especially now that she has the kittens because the other day she was trying to fight off a dog that was being walked by a neighbor. ...

OP, you sound like you huge a huge heart, but please, please, please TAKE HER AND HER BABIES TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY. They will likely send her and her babies to a foster human until her babies are old enough to be adoptable -- likely NO CAGE, but frankly, even a large cage where all of them can be together would be better than them being OUTDOORS where dangers are EVERYWHERE!!
Please take her to the Humane Society ASAP and report back!!
Please!!
