Hey, its fine w/ me that people here think the world is flat and you'll fall off the other side if you venture out to far... that florida is nothing but a big swamp because it isn't featured in Snob magazine..

Keeps the local spots chill :

the bartenders accessible :

Property values down and life comfortable ...
Ranked #25 in fortunes best 100 companies to work for in 2012 .. Drumroll ..
A leading cloud provider of people management solutions for global businesses located in FL ..

If you can't find a company that utilizes your skills, start your own .. Create you're own career.. After some years slogging for some of the top corporations in the valley, that's the very thing I am going to do ..

So yeah, it's good that people think there is nothing of value outside California ... The less publicity the better ... the places are just perfect w/ the least amount of people pining over them .. No crazy traffic .. No overcrowding of the cultural hot spots .. Can get a tablet at a good restaurant .. All sorts of good stuff .. if people want to cram into a room and make things uncomfortable, why fight for a spot when there are many other rooms available? Beauty is all over .. if people only see one type, sucks for them.

Speaking of swamps, have you ever smelled that odor in Milpitas?

Given that I'm from FL (for which the poster probably is not) and actually grew up there .. nothing is blowing the bloom off my rose. The temps of the water at the beaches is actually suitable for a human body, go make something of the weather and take a trip to the beach.

But yes, FL is a swamp .. Everyone stay the @#%* out .. Please stay where you are if you're in California and if where you are isn't California .. Please get on the first bus out and pack it in.

I've never understood the draw of bathtub-warm water in hot, sticky climes.
