We are thinking about moving into Watermark Cambridge building, but are not able to have a showing in advance as we are in Germany at the moment. Any opinions about this building?

The pictures of the building look great, but on Google Streetview we saw a big construction going on right next door. Does anyone know, if this construction is finished by now? Or does anyone actually live in this building and can tell me, if there is any noise problem with the construction site nearby.

Thanks a lot!

We live in Watermark, but can't wait to move out. There's a lot of noise from outside construction and inside. The building you saw on the google maps suppose to finish by December, but they're many other constructions opening now. Besides that, the inside walls are the biggest problem. Literally, you can hear what your next door neighbor says on the phone. Never mind if they are having a party, or a fight.
The rent is overpriced for what the place really is, it looks fancy on the lobby, but the living situation is not worth all these money.
The managment, is nice until they get you to sign, then you realize that they are snobby. They give months free to get you moved in, hoping that next year you will feel lazy to move out, then the increase of the rent, goes up to the sky.
Honestly, I hope that I helped you with this; I wish someone could have told me all this without having to move here and now move out again. Do not bother with them.

Smile I just moved in

I just moved in to the watermark in cambridge and was pretty happy with my situation. I see the construction from the window, but so jfar I have not had any real noise coming into the apartment. Most of the workers are gone by afternoon. The office seems too busy for sure. The newer buildings we visited were more attentive, but they were too far, and almost empty, so they have time I guess. We liked everyone we met, really love the front desk people and look forward to living here for the year. Oh and the price--well I didn't find anything close to MIT that was a good price and had a front desk staff. There were some new ones that were too far, and the other one is n't open yet, but the windows look directly into the other buildings and apartments so I wouldn't movein there anyways. I need a view of something!
