Weird Laws in Florida

-It is illegal for anyone wearing a swimsuit to sing while in public.
-Women can be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, and so can the salon owner.
-Parachuting is great fun in Florida, but not for single women on Sundays... it is illegal
-It is illegal in the state to skateboard without a license
-According to state law, every building in Florida meant for public use must have an outward swinging door due to the high winds during hurricane season.
-It is against state law to sell your children in Florida
-State law says that if you leave an elephant tied to a parking meter, you must pay as if it were a vehicle
-Highway Patrol officers lose their bonuses if they are 15lbs overweight.

These laws are silly and frivolous, honestly. Someone needs to step in and repeal them.

I like the one about the officers losing their bonuses! Too many overweight cops. They need to be fit to fight!!

I totally agree with you! It is almost like they get them on the books...... and so much times go by and they get pushed to the bottom of the pile that no one bothers to go back and fix it.
