Ok. Granted that while it has been hyped up, this seems to be something that people are wholeheartedly rushing into. Trust me, you do NOT want to do that. I have been in the process of refinancing, and it is not something to "jump" into. You need to look into the advantages and disadvantages of doing such a thing. For example, you fail to mention such disadvantages including: elongation of the mortgage itself, resetting the principal/interest ratios, in addition to more fees.
