As a chinese girl, maybe I dont have the right to evaluate others' discriminations against china, because chinese are good at making excuses and defending everything no matter if that is right or wrong.But i always think the people all over the world have a unilateral information of china, what they saw and what they know about china are one-side.
sth i have to admit, china is poor and produces cheap staff , some people cheat to go abroad,some are unpolite, polution here is a problem.However, that doesn't mean china is crap .
What you know abt china, i am embarrassed to say i dont quite know some chinese old culture and literature.and that is really what our generation is lack of . but what i know is chinese are discriminated by many foreigners.Our culture , our nationality, our policy ,our ability and our respect.Maybe my poor english makes me unexact to express my point, so i have to aplogize to all of you.
everyone in or out of the world knows the Jewish encounter during the war, they have a sympthy for them.However , what do you know about the history chinese suffered ? and why we have these circumstances, would anyone stand out to call loudly for our fair treatment?We have, but nobody listened.Like, the sculptures on auction in paris，the denial of the invasion in japanese history materials.Lately, there is a movie shown in our country. it tells the facts in the invasion war in china, i recommend that movie to everyone.the name is nanjing nanjing.

That posting was obviously done by an American and I apologize.
We Americans are fat, dumb and happy. Our government protects us from the ugly parts of life in the world and in our own country. He probably enjoys shopping at WalMart where most of the goods come from China. He won't sacrafice a good deal for his principals.
It is the government that has caused the people of China to be exploited for generations, but things are changing. Young people like you want to be proud of their country, not just survive.
One thing most Americans have in common is that they know that people all over the world are basically the same, just people. We want an education and a job, have a home and enough to eat and take care of our families. We hate to be afraid to loose any of that.
While government leaders are posturing on TV, we go about our daily lives. When government leaders make a mistake, we pay by being hated. During the years of George Bush, I think Americans became the most hated people in the world, but we didn't change, the opinion of the world did. because of one bad leader. As Americans we were greatful that our democracy allowed us to vote his party BIG TIME out of the government because we didn't like what he did to us. I also think that is why democracy isnt popular. Leaders want to have control over the people's future not have the people have control over their future.
As for the previous poster, regarding prisioners, how is that different from our mid east prisoners in Guantanimo.
As for the dog comment, I don't know if you eat dog, but I do admire that you waste no part of any animal you do eat. Americans are very wasteful. They eat with their eyes and not with their stomach. That is why we are so overweight. Also cows, sheep, chickens and pigs are also domesticated animals so who is to judge which one to eat.
To address you on the war with Japan, people of my generation also had several movies that showed how barbaric it was not only to the Chinese, but also to European missionaries and families who were in the country. But, that is in the past and at some point we need to learn from the past and let it go.
I saw your art and you are very talented. I left you a message on your blog. You, one day will travel the world so work hard to learn good English and French.
