A weekend in Charleston, SC

Posted 09-14-2008 at 03:52 PM by bs13690

So we just got back a friend's wedding in Charleston, SC. What a difference a few days can make in gas prices. When we left they were headed down to below 3.50, now we have seen them back up above 4 in a lot of places. Managed to fill up at a place for 3.69 in Rock Hill. A few people did not even attend because they were afraid of the high prices/shortages.

Charleston is a nice town but very humid. I think I sweated out anything that I drank at the reception. The best part of the trip was visiting the USS Yorktown and some other naval vessels. Touring the submarine is something I would recommend to see how cramped those things are. A good time was had by all.
