Obviously, I am Nuts

Posted 07-20-2009 at 03:14 AM by LookinForMayberry

I processed the application for Romeo yesterday morning before we left for Montreal. Soon after arriving, I checked emails, found the shelter had one additional question, and I replied with the answer. Everything was looking good.

As we were setting up "camp" in our new site, I began thinking of how we would need to prepare for Romeo's arrival. He's a larger dog than Ritz -- the description calls him a beagle mix, but I think the mix was a Husky. Suddenly, this 38' RV started looking pretty small -- and Ritz started looking even tiny!

After dinner, I went for my walk around the park, relishing the idea of having a larger dog to actually walk with me at MY pace. But later the dark clouds and winds reminded me that there would be those days (as we've had too often) that going out would be grim.

I set the doubts aside, went about my evening, and when I went to bed -- suddenly I KNEW I couldn't go forward with the adoption. I decided to "sleep on it."

Waking this morning, I knew I was right. I sent the email to the shelter, apologizing for taking their time, and rescinding. Hopefully, like Sam, Romeo will be scooped up by the weekend.

Sometimes, I think we should just go home, pick up the lives we lived there, and get on with them. Each day, I find something I want to do that I cannot because we are doing this trip. Then again, it is a GREAT trip, and we are creating lifetime memories every day.

I think I'm bipolar, or maybe just nuts!

I have ever got a very little sparrow whose plume had not completed yet.it can't fly at all.
I got it in an ash cart, and I wanted to rescue it by original intention. But later, all the people told me,I can't raise it at all,it needed to eat insects but I only had rice.
So I put it on a lawn, wished someone can take it away and raise it.
The second day,I wen to the lawn, and found the little sparrow bad still been there ,but dead .
    I was upset.

I also find something I want to do but I can't.
Sometimes we human beings are so chicken****.
