16. Long Strange Road Trip Begins

I shall try to get this posted from my pathetic phone. LOL
I decided to leave today. The house has not closed but we expect it to close any day. My main reason for leaving before it closes is finding out California will be keeping 10% of my IRA withdrawal. That's my cash purchase of my new place which is incredibly cheap, in my opinion, for what I'm getting. But it still amounts to a large chunk of change going into the corrupt coffers of California. I will gladly pay it to my new state, about half of the percentage. So I'm going to go out there, establish my residency, and hopefully it will all work out. It is definitely worth the try. 6 days of travel and I hope to stop in periodically.
