Protesting
I see that people are protesting again. It was really popular (when I say popular I mean that it was in the news regularly) back in the sixties when I was a kid. What I can't understand is where do people get the time to protest? In the good old days, we did it when we were in college. People nowadays look so much older which seems odd to me because normally everybody looks so much younger. Vietnam, burning your draft card, civil rights, bra burning, women's rights, cops were the enemy ----it's all coming full circle again. Too bad it's the same story different characters .Honestly though, I think I still have a penchant for civil disobedience but I think it's now on a private level. Really miss the good old days when I wasn't old and I wasn't good and smoking a tree was called toking a little herb.
We are kind of like a mouse on a wheel. We keep going and going but we never get where we need to be. So much technology, so much information and we still can't figure out how to live in peace or at the very least--Get along.

That may be what the problem is. Too many people with too little time for something more constructive.
