I live in HSB. It is tiny. There is a local market that carries the basics. You’ll need to go down Highway 55 to Eagle or over Highway 52 to Emmett for an actual grocery store - about 25 minutes either trip and this would depend on exactly where is HSB you live. The Bend is about 45 minutes from downtown Boise. There are 3 restaurants in HSB and 1 in Sweet. There is a doctor who visits a time or 2 a week I believe but you’d need to travel over Highway 55 for the majority of your other needs. Depending on your needs you may have trouble getting service people to come to your house. I’d also recommend if you shop for large ticket times like appliances and furniture check with the store before your purchase to ensure they’ll deliver here....for example Home Depot will not deliver here but Lowe’s will.
