You are right, our counties have been growing faster than expected. Berkeley County has already passed 200,000 when it wasn't expected to that until around 2024. Still, this is a good guesstimate imo.
And the thing about Greenville: while it's on fire, Pickens and Laurens are not. They drag down Greenville's growth rate. None of the 3 Charleston counties are dragging anything down. Charleston's not even the fastest growing county in that metro. I think Charleston could very well pass Greenville that soon, unless of course GSP unites, which they should be.
