hunterseat df: Hunter Seat Equitation is a division that is judged on the ability and the style of the rider. The riders can be judged both over fences and on the flat.

Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.

And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.

Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"

Teddy Bear's Story

Posted 07-31-2016 at 04:11 PM by hunterseat

I'm not a very motivated blogger. (Captain Obvious) Discipline has been elusive. I have no excuse.

But I DO have a few little stories stashed away! And here is one.

This is an allegory about why your girlfriend would love to wear your ring. Even if it is about a little boy dog. Use your imagination.

There was once a little black puppy. He sat on the sunny side of the house. Sometimes he was happy because people would come outside. But mostly he was lonely. He liked to look into the neighbor’s yard where there were LOTS of happy dogs. They were loved and cared for by the person who lived in the house. And when she went in the house, the dogs got to go in the house, too. He wished he belonged to her. But he really didn’t belong to anyone. He just sat outside. He sat out in the rain and he sat out in the cold. But he always looked over at the neighbor’s yard, wishing he belonged.

One day he felt really bad. No one helped him. He went over to the neighbor’s yard and sat on the sunny side of THAT house. She came out and found him. She knew he didn’t feel well so she took him to the vet. He came home with her and got to come inside with the other dogs. When he felt better she put a beautiful red collar around his neck. He was so proud. He knew she loved him. But more than that, he belonged to someone.
