Made It Home Safe And Sound

Today I got stamps at the post office, filled up on gas, got car washed and picked up some tooth paste and paper towels at the store. I did all that without the car breaking down, getting pulled over by the fuzz or getting hit by a drunk or a texting numbskull. It was a successful mission, I feel like I accomplished something. I hate driving. It wasn't like that when I first got my license, I was constantly on the road mostly just driving around for adventure. It's become a headache for me now when I get out on the road, too many people not paying attention or just being road hogs. Then the cops looking for revenue for their crappy little towns. I have no worries when I'm in my house and my car is safely parked in the garage. On my way home, They had a street blocked with cop cars flashing their lights and an ambulance coming out. I found out on the news when I got home that a couple pushing a baby stroller was hit by a driver who went flatline after overdosing on heroin.
