Tv westerns vol.1

I figured I would follow up my last blog giving some info on tv westerns. I had been collecting them for over 30 years, first on 16mm film and then on VHS/DVD. I have most of them including a number of them with original cigarette commercials. I will start with the obscure shows that a lot of people never heard of.
The Man From Blackhawk (1959-1960) 37 episodes. Starring; Robert Rockwell. He was an insurance investigator who travelled about the old west looking for insurance fraudsters. He fought more with his fists than he did with his gun.
Tate (1960) 13 episodes. Starring; David McClean. He was a one-armed gunfighter who roamed the west in search of men he was hired to kill. He was very fast on the draw but they never showed how he loaded his gun.
Two Faces West (1960-1961) 39 episodes. Starring; Charles Bateman. Bateman played a dual role as twin brothers, one a doctor and the other a trigger-happy marshal.
Jefferson Drum (1958) 26 episodes. Starring; Jeff Richards. He was a newspaper editor in the old west who had to raise his 10 year old son by himself after his wife died.
The Dakotas (1963) 20 episodes. Starring; Larry Ward,Jack Elam,Chad Everett,Mike Greene. A marshal and his 3 deputies tame the Dakota Territory in the 1800s. There was a lot of gunplay in this one. It got cancelled when viewers wrote in complaining about a shootout in a church where a preacher got winged.
