Any agency/government can set up 'tests' to see if a hypothesis will fail to meet their agenda. This Soviet study you present is a clear example of that.

However with that said, in the larger scheme of things, it is the men of the world who start wars and acts of horrors. Most women, by our nature, are peaceful and nurturing. We're not natural war mongers. But there are numbers amongst us who will defend people/nations to their death, and that is something to be supported and applauded.
The Soviets were not "testing" theories, they were fielding female battalions in combat operations and the promoters of the concept who came up with the idea were handed their one -way tickets to the Western front as a "reward" for such a hare-brained idea!
