Where did we turn to HATE

This statement was made in reference to someone raising an opposing point of view in a discussion about the bible being the infallible word of God...
Below is my comment regarding the message above.
OMG! WTF!
This statement, when made to 80% of the population is just SO WRONG that even Judas would be seen as a victim.
Again, those who disagree are insulted, belittled and generally spat upon and kicked.
Tell me again how well the institutionalized church is doing today and why so many are running OUT its doors to seek comfort and safe harbor in the teachings of Christ and leaving the fire and brimstone mentality behind.
The Bible has been used for way too long, ever since MAN first wrote it an assembled a select group of writings that appealed to patriarchal society, to BEAT the skeptics and doubters into submission or silence.
Worship and "church" should never be built on FEAR and coercion. But that is just what so many do. Why is it that when people attain a position of "power" the first thing they do is develop a program to prevent others from challenging their authority. Next they lay out a program designed to "trap" their members and convince them that not only are the current leadership RIGHT, they current leadership is the ONLY version on the planet that is RIGHT. Those who dare question, resist, or otherwise THINK FOR THEMSELVES will suffer dearly for their insubordination.
Have so many of us been raised by earthly fathers who were ANGRY, domineering and physically intimidating that we want this from our church? Do we really buy into the MIGHT MAKES RIGHT and these types of organizations will protect us from doubt and make it easy to be "christian?"
Then we have a fail safe--IF THE LEADERSHIP IS EVER PROVEN WRONG, AS WE STAND BEFORE THE ULTIMATE JUDGE, JURY AND DELIVERER, WE CAN JUST BLAME THE CHURCH FOR MISLEADING US...
We deceive ourselves if we think that we can follow whatever doctrine and justify it because we sincerely believed in the pastor / minister / evangelist with all our heart and all our soul--even though deep down inside we KNEW that their message of leaving the poor behind and telling them to get a job you %$# slob was wrong. WE KNEW WHAT JESUS WANTED US TO DO, BUT...
Or the woman who has had or is going to have an abortion..we justify our HATE for her because OPERATION RESCUE or Dr DOBSON said HIS biblical interpretation calls it murder...yet how many of us will or have ever walked in her shoes? Have we LIVED her life in the same situation or circumstances?
Why, in Exodus 21:22 does it states that if a man causes a woman to have a miscarriage, he shall be fined; however, if the woman dies then he will be put to death. It seems kind of obvious that an ABORTED fetus is not considered LIVING from the point of view of the LAW or GOD. How does one explain the FINE for a miscarriage, while the penalty is death for killing the woman? it is not classified by the bible as a capital offense.
EVEN if we do not all agree on any issue completely, we surely must agree that no matter what, in the end, when ALL is said and life is done, GOD will have the ultimate word--SO WHY DO WE TRY TO DO WHAT GOD HAS RESERVED FOR HIMSELF?
