relocating to waterloo iowa

Ok so My husband, myself and our 3 children are relocating to waterloo iowa from freeport il.. so i was looking for some insight on the city.. what is there to do for entertainment? How are the schools elementary? Are there manufacturing jobs out there... and what neighborhoods/streets to stay away from? Also is there alot of serious crime.. murders/robberies? Thanks for any help!
