This blog is written from my personal experiences on why and how I successfully left the gay life. Because I knew my relationship with Christ and my sexual desires for the same sex couldn't mix, I had to make a choice.
I made that tough choice more than 20 years ago and in my heart I know it was the right choice. If someone truly wants out, it IS possible. There are many naysayers out there who will bog you down with their opinions. My belief is, if you want it bad enough you CAN change. It IS possible.

Exposing the lies of homosexuality
After a few years of inactivity I decided it's time to pick up where I left off.
Since my last post so much has happened in our world in the arena of homosexuality. As a people group, gay people now have more rights including the right to legally marry one another.
Marrying a person of the same sex is simply put so very not right. It's not merely because of my beliefs in Christ but there is something inside my spirit that cries out against it. Then again, maybe it's the Holy Spirit helping me to see that God did not make us to be in marriage or a sexual relationship with another man.
This topic has been beat to death by both sides of the media and is sadly becoming more of a norm now. So many people accept that it's okay to marry another person of your sex.
What upsets me even more is that the government is forcing people to accept this lifestyle choice. If your a person of faith, no matter which god you pray to, you're at risk if you disagree that being gay is natural and okay. It's not. My belief and no one can take that away from me. If you don't like what I think or say then don't read or listen. Your beliefs are not better or more important because you disagree with what I think or say.
Many gay people would call what I've written "hate speech". Truly what it is, is that they "hate" what I'm saying and others like me are saying and they want to quiet us. Go ahead and live the life you've chosen, I'll live mine the way I've chosen. And btw, I was gay but chose to leave it because I knew it did not honor God.
Later the disciples went to Jesus in private and asked him, “Why couldn’t we force out the demon?” Jesus replied: It is because you don’t have enough faith! But I can promise you this. If you had faith no larger than a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there. And it would. Everything would be possible for you.

And yet through spiritual direction and prayer, God led me to accept myself as a Lesbian woman of God. I will not bother you any further, but there are Christian Churches that do affirm the lives and loving relationships of LGBTI folks. Your theology does not speak for all Christian Churches, really only those who choose to accept a very literal interpretation of the Bible on issues they want to believe literally.
