Cautiously optimistic that Home Sales are picking up in Somerset County

My experiences over the last few weeks have me feeling cautiously optimistic that home sales are picking up in Somerset County. I've seen increased buyer inquiries and readiness to visit properties, higher Open House attendance, and increased hits to the property pages of my online listings.

Today's update of the Market Absorption rates at my website seems to prove that the anecdotal evidence of improvement may be in fact real. In almost all markets, the time to sell had declined - and that is a very good thing.

To sellers I say, be sure you are priced properly so that the ready, willing and able buyers don't pass you by.
