This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Picnic and Today

Posted 05-28-2013 at 12:49 PM by woodworkingmenace

Most people showed up for our indoor picnic

Of course, I knew my Dad, Mom, and Brother wouldnt, since my Brother doesnt go anywhere with out my Parents, (he takes care of them), and my Dad isnt feeling well, (he knows he left the Nursing Home too soon, but, he wanted to go anyways).

My Cousin showed up with thier Grandkids in tow, and even brought thier Daughter along with them, which was a pleasant suprise!
Of course, she is like her Mother, doesnt speak unless spoken too, and I was watching the kids, to make sure they didnt put anything in thier mouths..(Wife came running in, when she discovered that she gave them magnets to play with, cause, we watched enough TV shows, dealing with magnets in kids bellies to know its a dangerous thing, so, she took them all off of them and gave them a bucket full of matchbox cars to play with. They were happy with them, after comeing from the Zoo, and seeing the animals, they were all wound up LOL. My ol Cuz, well, he was winding down, and his motor was idling into snooze zone .

My Wife gave them the bucket of matchbox to take home and play with, plus two coloring books and crayons, (she always has something ready for kids, when they come to visit, so they dont get bored, when grownups start to chat among ourselves).

Now, what gets me is, my Wife specifically told me that she was leaving the watermellong in the trunk of her car, the other night, and that it would be ok, even if it gets cold outside. Skip to today, after the picnic, and I ask her about the watermellon, because I dont seem to recall it, during the picnic.... Her jaw dropped and she did a quick intake of breath and said AAAAAWWWWWW!!!!! YOU should of reminded ME!!!!
Yeaaaaa Right!!! Like I can remember what I did ten minutes ago, only if I have someone 'to' remind me, because of the drugs I take, that fogs my memory, and YOU want me to remember what Im not supposed to forget, cause you forgot too? ROTFLOL Just aint gonna happen Dear ...

Today:

Filling out the paper work for my Daughter's Accident Repots. This is gonna take a good long time to get over, Im figuring, probably months. Good thing we dont get into accidents that often, especially with uninsured drivers, since this seems to take forever and a day now, and its just getting started. Fun, fun, fun, but, it makes life interesting, and takes the boredom away!

I wish you well....

Wife went out, and cleaned all the furniture off, then, went to the Store to get a few more things.

While she was at the Store, it started to rain... Boy, was she livid when she came home!!! LOL...

I figured we could have it indoors, since everyone was coming, but, like my Cuz's Grandson said, "your supposed to have a picnic outside in the grass"! He is right, but, rain makes it a wee bit irritating to eat between the raindrops

By the way, she has been mad for the first few days after the picnic, because the weather was georgeous LOL... Oh well, and, we are still eating watermellon that we forgot to bring in the house for five days now sheeesh!!!
    I wish you well....
