My Rest Day :)

I just finished watching The Universe: Strangest Things. At the end of the show one of the scientists commented that in her view humans were the strangest thing in the universe. Judging from my observations over my life of 56 years, I agree! 
DH just returned back to the basement for another session of radio contesting, and I just finished a session of working on my needlepoint -- time for me to get to those books. Yesterday, I finished financial statement analysis, and now I want to go back and review General Ledger. I guess you could say I am starting at the end of the accounting process and working my way back.
It's overcast today, and it looks as though the prediction for cooler weather is going to be accurate. Yesterday was clear, sunny, and high of mid-70s -- very uncomfortable for us sun-sensitive people. (Where's the smiley for panting?!)
While out walking Big' yesterday (his 3rd birthday), we decided to move our stuff out of the downstairs and return it to a rental. When we moved back into the home in Aug '10, we decided we didn't want to rent it any longer (we've rented half our homes since the first in '97 and this is #4), but with my not working it is fiscally prudent. Moving back upstairs is going to be a huge effort, because we've let our stuff expand to our space. Still, when we eventually move to a smaller house we will have to do it, anyway. Might as well do it now, while I am not working, and he doesn't have a project house in process. (He does "flips.")
So, after my studying, I've got some sorting to do in the storage areas down there. We're also swapping bedrooms upstairs, so he can have my larger room for his bedroom, office, and radio room. (More compacting for me, to move my double room to a single. Where the heck am I going to put all my quilting, needlecraft, and mixed media supplies????!)
I am calling this my "rest" day, but it isn't really looking very restful. Bigun will be wondering what happened to his walk....
