Bachin' wi' Big' 'n Ritz

Just finished a late breakfast after sweeping and vacuuming. Bigun and Ritz are deep into their morning naps.
Well, truthfully, it's hard to see where Ritz' evening slumber separates from her morning nap or, for that matter from her afternoon nap. Pretty much Ritz is the stuffed dog that snores, which is why I wanted Bigun, so it's a good thing.
DH went off fishing for a bit, so it's just me and the dogs. I walked Big' through the woodlands to the park earlier this morning and chucked the ball until the scents got the better of him, then we just walked home. When he gets wound up again this afternoon, we'll head into Petsmart to get his nails done, and then do another walk in town. He likes to visit the feed store -- good smells in there, I gather.
The pollen counts are down today and I am hoping the afternoon rains will keep them down. The antihistamines are keeping my reactions in check, but it seems like the pollens are going straight to my lungs. The situation gives me a whole new level of sympathy for my mom's situation when she was alive. COPD is much worse than asthmatic reactions to allergies, and this is quite bad enough for me.
I found out yesterday my dentist is closing up shop because he doesn't want to be a dentist anymore. Sad for me. Actually, I was thinking I should start going to another clinic because his rates were higher -- but he was so good looking I kept going anyway.
Now I am consumed with curiosity to learn just WHAT he will be doing. (I am having these great fantasies about him traveling the globe going to all these exotic locations and doing all these fascinating things. Maybe I will start writing these out and become a famous author, like Janet Evanovich -- with a better protagonist!)
That's it, today -- pretty boring. One cannot be witty and interesting every day.
