The good thing about blogs is that no one reads them. Supposedly twelve people read my last entry, but they were probably misdirected folks, lost at the website. "Misclicks" I call them. I've accepted the fact that no one reads my blog but me. And even I am a little reluctant.
Anyway, I'm back from my trip to Death Valley. And yes, I did end-up going alone. Being alone on an isolated trail in the desert is a curious experience. When I wasn't taking pictures or looking at desert scenery I would think about random things. At the end of the second day the thoughts became mumbled words. Finally, after the third day the thoughts were spoken right out loud. I would even throw in a hand gesture now and then. For a while I thought that talking to myself was kind of nutty. But I finally made peace with it and began to enjoy the conversation, such as it was. Besides, I could act sane again when I'd spot an oncoming hiker.
I've got a couple of hundred photos from the trip. I'd post them if there were an easy way to do it. And I mean an [B][I]easy way[/I][/B] to do it. If I could post them then I'd not only have a blog that no one reads, I'd also have photos that no one sees.

Too funny, I went to the Shoeshone Womens Gathering there and wow, I was living in NV so we had to drive off the road and we had to go the Date Farm near Pahrump NV and we were shocked to see dates and yummy jams and fun trails to take. Drive into California and wamm, the Hot Springs!! Next time your there by yourself,,, think of me and soak,,nude of corse as that is a rule unless you pay for a private tub and soak up the sun and have some fun with the nativesPosted 02-14-2012 at 05:31 PM by happyup
