Calling All Angels

Posted 12-12-2011 at 09:59 AM by Pikantari

This is the day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today is a hard day for many people I know. Somehow it feels like this is the day that He called his angels. I know more than one person who lost a child on this day.

My whole family lost a sweet baby girl who was just a bit over six months old. A pretty little brown haired girl with beautiful eyes and a smile which would captivate anyone's heart. She would have been four years old now.

My nephew is her father. I remember when he was that little. They had one little girl when their second was born. Since then, they have had a little boy. That boy loves his Paw-Paw to pieces! They are almost inseparable! His Paw Paw is my oldest brother.

I don't think any of us knows why a child is taken from this world. We know it happens and wish it didn't. What is the right thing to say? I don't think anything could take away the feeling of the loss of a child.

My friends brother lost a baby girl three years ago today, she would have been ten now. She left behind a twin sister.

My heart breaks for the mothers and fathers and families who have lost children in their lives.

May they be wrapped in the Lords graces and feel His loving embrace......
