My Neighbor, whom my Wife and my Neighbors Brother and Sister in law put in the Nursing Home is in the Hospital, undergoing a Colostomy Operation.
Apparently, she was leaking 'stool' into her stomach, because her bowels had 'fistulas' that were ruptured, and she has a lot of cancer in her...
My Wife speculated months ago, that she must have cancer, because she has had to have blood put in her a few times, as she keeps losing it, and there are no signs of it anywhere...
It wasnt till she started to swell up in the Nursing Home after her 90th Birthday Party, that this all came to light....
Its a fact, that we are all going to die, but, its what we 'die from' that seems to make it important... She (the Neighbor), is so worried that someone will 'take' her stuff from the Nursing Home, if she doesnt get back in time, that she isnt even focused on the operation and cancer...
Since her Husband had died about 25 years earlier, she has been alone, living across the yard in her house, from our Neighbor, (houses, side by side). So, our one neighbor could look over at her and keep her safe...but, since our Neighbor who is healthy, (well, she has issues of her own), she cant take care of her sister in law anymore, and had to get her into a 'Home'...
My Wife has bee a GODsend to each of them, as she has helped them a lot, in everything they do... She came home, discusted and laughing at the same time, at thier antic. The old woman calling her old man a S.O.B....and saying her Uncle must of been 'NUTS' telling her to come over from Greece to marry a man in the Mill, cause he was going to be RICH!! ROTFLOL....
The old man saying that he has 'papers' saying that she said "I Do" LOL....
Then, the old lady shut the door, and almost got his fingers stuck, and he hollared he had to go to the Emergency Room!!! My Wife said, can you bend your fingers... He showed her he could, so, she said they were not broken... Then, 'he' called his Wife a S.O. B. My Wife about lost it right there, laughing so hard... She had never heard eaither of them speak like that, in front of her...
Them old people.. They can make you laugh and smile, and perplexed and miffed at all thier antics that they know they can get away with, simply because 'they are old'
Unfortunately, I wont get that pleasure, cause my Wife has a good skillet, and, will make the top of my head a good landing pad for helicopters to land, if I start giving her any trouble like that LOL...and the sad part is... I 'bought' her those skillets!!! ROTFLOL
