One year during VBS (vacation bible school), the theme for the week was Noah. Usually they had us do some kind of craft during the week and this particular year we built an Ark out of popcicle sticks. At the end of VBS it was customary for all the parents to come to church and see what all the kids had made and usually eat. Well during this Friday night meeting, with my newly made "ark" in hand, I told my mom I had to go to the bathroom. I went in, pushed in the plug, and filled the sink with water. I just had to see if my boat was gonna float. It took all of about 30 seconds for the elmers school glue to come apart in the sink. But it gave me an idea, if Noah could build a boat, surely me and my best friend JT could as well. And where better to test it at than out back behind JT's house in his dads pond.....

I've had more than one childhood idea that didn't float. I'm not sure if my mom has forgot them or not. You made me remember one to *** about though. Thanks.
