Update.
We had to reschedule our Sept 7 appt due to school functions.
We have talked to several friends who experienced great success on the diet. One, a 25 year old woman, did one round and lost 30 lbs. Six months later she continues to lose and eats whatever she wants, just smaller portions. Her 50 year old mother is on round 3 and has lost over 50 lbs in 6 months. Neither of these ladies suffered complications of any kind. Another friend, male, 46 years old, is feeling better than he has in years after losing over 40 lbs. He had knee replacement a few years ago and since losing the weight the pain in both knees and his back is gone. He didn't grow man boobs. The VLCD was easy for him and, more often than not, he had more food on his plate than he wanted or could eat.
We will go to our intro meeting on Monday night the 13th.
