Strange Fruit

Posted 05-13-2010 at 08:32 AM by SunnyKayak

This movie is PG 13

William Boyals, a successful, black, gay attorney in
New York, is drawn back to the small, rural
Louisiana town he long ago escaped from to
investigate the lynching of a black gay childhood
friend.

powerful movie... I just wish that parts of this movie, were

not true!! Yet they are... Lets not turn our head and

let people get away with hatred,...
PLEASE let love REAL LOVE provail!!!

This
movie had a very powerful message ..esp in the
scene where officer matthers and William the

Lawyer were under the bleachers and he talks

about how "when willam stuck up for him as a

child yet when willam is older and (outs) himself

no one was there to stick up for him"...I find in my

life that to be very true...we have to be stronger

then the average person to get along in life....its

sad yet true...however the more people "see us"

for who "we are" the more people will learn not to

be afraid..
