Our Boxer Autumn

Autumn is our 3 year old Boxer, she is an awesome member of the family. We had her bred in August and she had her pups this last Friday, all 8 of them, 3 Brindle males, 3 Fawn Females, 1 White male with a dark spot on its eyebrow and ear, and 1 White Female. My wife calls them, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs.
Even before we decided to have her bred we set aside funds for this, having a litter of pups isn't something that should be taken lightly and one should be prepared. Autumn has her whelping kennel, this is large enough for her to move around and it gives Autumn the feeling that her litter is safe.
At 6 am Oct 16th, Autumn started showing signs of labor, we guided her to her whelping kennel and she got comfortable. I took her temp and it was just over 98 degrees, anytime now I thought, typically once the dames temp reaches 97 degrees shes going to start delivering. At 8 am I called our Vet and informed them that Autumn was going into labor and just put them on alert in case anything went wrong. By noon still no puppies, I was really getting concerned, her water had broke at about 10:30. At about 12:30 I noticed a greenish discharge, we put Autumn in the Jeep, I called the Vet and told them we were on our way and that we had a sack break with no pup being delivered. To shorten this story, Autumn had to have a C-section, she wasn't producing the hormone to make her push. She had 8 healthy pups and mother and litter are doing great, a week later. The pups are growing, she is a doting mother.
I'll post pictures once their eyes open, right now they look like little hamsters LOL.
