Anyone know a good GP? The last couple of doctor's I've been to have been kind of lackluster. It would be nice if they also took Humana and BCBS.

David Carver. I've had a hard time finding a good doc, still don't have a dentist I like, but Dr. Carver has been great.

Every doctor I've seen at Baton Rouge Clinic has been very professional, easy to talk to, and respectful. Scott Wharton is the one I've been to the most, and I'd recommend him to anyone. I think Baton Rouge Clinic takes all major insurance providers, including both Humana and BCBS.

I have concerns about Wharton. He blew off my pain, I insisted on testing, resulted in emergency appendectomy.

For a dentist I would recommend Dr. Guidric at plaquemine, its a 20 minutes drive from downtown, he is my dentist since 2004 after a bad experience with a local dentist which I rather won't name. Very good doctor, great staff and he never try to talk people into expending money on unneeded dental procedures.

I don't mean to hijack the tread but now talking about doctors...

Anybody knows a good doc for adult ADD? I think I may need one. I always had trouble to stay focused on one single task, always doing 2 or 3 things at the same time but never finishing anything unless I absolutely have to, and its getting worst, so bad that my wife want me to go see a srink.... Go figure. :-)

James
