Thank you all for participating in this thread. Your help was invaluable. Settled on Towson - short commute but can walk to bars and restaurants. The complex is new and modern but doesn't take guarantors so that eliminates rowdy students. I am very happy and appreciate all your comments.

Ah, don't want to drive the Jones Falls, or 83 in the morning. C'mon, you can be close to all that vibrancy.
Down by Fairmount Ave. there were older Apartments, and boy did they become a dump. Torn down and now it's all high rises. Some of the buildings were incorporated into the new design. It will be like Harbor East North without the night views. Both grocery stores nearby aren't very good.
It will be trendy......you couldn't pay me to live in Towson. And I did over 40 years ago.

Suburban, Urban planning in the region is lousy. But as long as young people keep coming here it will continue to look this way.

Even the ****ing strip club closed off of Orchard Tree Lane. Damn, what's the world coming to.
