It's my yearly trip to the Baltimore Convention Center at the end of the month for Otakon. I'll be spending the night with a relative in Middle River (right off Martin Blvd) and driving to the Convention Center in the morning and was wondering if there was a local restaurant (not a national chain) that somebody could recommend for breakfast that was relatively along the path. Not concerned with the price, just want a good atmosphere and good food.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for good eatings around the Convention Center, I'm always willing to try new places. Have no problems taking the bus system if needed.

I think there's a place called Broadway Diner on Eastern Ave.

Here's the website I found: Broadway Diner - Open 24 Hours.

Miss Shirley's is in walking distance to the Convention Ctr.
It's kind of pricey but really worth it.

Another good one is Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point. Maybe a cab/bus ride away. I love the bacon there....but the restaurant is pretty small.

Blue Moon Cafe

Broadway Diner is good if you are hung over and starving at 3am....would not go out of my way to eat there any other time.

Their food sounds fantastic (and the price is about what I was expecting for the area). I'll definitely go there at least one of the days we'll be here.
