Burdell is right on the money, if you see it on TV you likely won't be able to buy it at the dealership. What's worse is now all the bodies in NASCAR are even exactly the same except for the nose and rear bumper cover - crazy. Personally I'd prefer to watch a Superbird, Matador, or anything else run than the current bunch of *** built, wind tunnel tested, cookie cutter, out of every normal guys reach excuse of a race car that's out there. I'm not bitter, just bummed that what has happened to racing is all of the backyard engineering is gone (i grew up in racing, I'm not really that old) and it has become a "checkbook race" - the guy with the biggest check book wins. That and the fact that officials are cranking on the rules so hard that the only advantage one can get is through "creative interpretation" of the rules. OK, I'm off my soap box, I'd vote Chevy 'cause that's what my Dad raced at places like Milwaukee, Atlanta, Michigan and many smaller tracks. It's also what I ran for years regionally. Love racing, just hate seeing the costs escalting.

Well that would depend on the race, the rules and the racetrack...
No cup car could compete on a roadcourse or anywhere else with a Formula one or IRL car
But an IRL or F1 car would never finish a cup race at Bristol
None of the above could touch a Maxim Sprint Car at Eldora's dirt track
I prefer Chevrolet and GM,and hopefully they will still be around in the future.
I would bet that if they file for chapter 11 and the union is busted, they are such pinheads they will screw up the production line to "hurt" GM. It will cost them there jobs in total, but they can't see that...
Ford is teh best i have Ford and really enjoyed while driving
