Hylton attempted to make the Daytona 500 in 2007. At 72, I believe it was.

Him and Morgan Shepard. The old guys that just kept on going.

Sounds like someone fell asleep at the wheel or whoever the driver was (Who survived) may have had a medical episode.

More like some dumb-ass cutting off the truck and forcing him into the median.

Seen it many times on that stretch of road and have experienced idiots cutting in front of my truck and expecting me to stop on a dime.

That stretch of 85, if i'm thinking right, which obviously i'm not, based on what I'm about to post.. I thought that was the area where both sides of the interstate are separated by a tree filled median. But, that may be further down towards Atlanta that i'm thinking..

found this.. Terry is Terry Strange, who was driving.

Quote:
“[The officer] said Terry … told them that he thought James was having a heart attack and he looked over at him and lost control of the truck and went across the median and then across the other lane of traffic and hit an embankment,” Evelyn told the newspaper. “The truck, towing a big trailer with a race car on it, thousands of pounds, you have to be really careful.”
