Apparently Fox Sports 1 ratings have been lower than Speed for the whole day and only slightly higher (by about 3K) in primetime. Hopefully this continues so than can realize they made a big mistake.
Besides the UFC coverage, this is true. UFC is the main breadwinner because ESPN is the face of televised sports. NBC, CBS and now Fox all are good for their specific coverage of sports but not their overall sports.
I wish Fox Sports II would be rebranded into a more motorsports centric channel but that even seems like a longshot for me.

I think they may end up doing that, but many people like us don't even get Fox Sports 2.
In good news, NASCAR Racehub has increased to an hour block again but sadly NASCAR is still the only motorsports option on FS1 (due to NBC Sports having the contracts with Indy, F1 and even the kinda failed Robbie Gordon Super Stadium Trucks and NHRA being on ESPN) For those of you looking for the Lucas Oil short course truck series that would be shown on Speed, it is still on tv if you get MAVtv (the same goes with Lucas Oil on Edge.)
No word where the Barrett Jackson car auctions are going to go yet.

I've gotten used to the Mecum auctions on Velocity. More realistic prices than BJ and still some really nice car. They seem to do some dealing when the prices are close to reserve so as not to lose the sale.
I don't know if the cars on BJ are better than Mecum but car sellers are not the most honest people no matter where they are selling.

We don't get Velocity either. I have seen the Mecum auctions, and I'm not a big fan of them. Seems like they're mostly muscle cars, which gets old for me after a while.
Barret-Jackson will still be on Fox Sports 1 or 2.
I guess I was the only one who liked to watch Semi truck, touring car, and rally racing. Ill miss watching it at 3am in the old days of Speed. V8 super cars, rolex, etc theres gotta be a market for that...
I think you'll see some of it spread across NBC Sports, Velocity and MavTv. I'm a big USAC and WoO fan, but I don't see anyone covering that, unfortunately.

GRC (America's version of Rally at ovals) is on ESPN as a part of X-Games and stand alone events.
The Rolex series is still on FS1 and will be after the merger next year. Personally I can't be bothered due to the numerous races going on in one race. It's hard enough paying attention to one at time, let alone two classes at the same moment...

I think USAC is on MavTV as well. I wouldn't put it past them to try to get that if you ask me. They seem to go after all the fringe motorsports.
