What would be the best route to drive to the Airport from Steiner and also from Lakeway? We drove past Lakeway coming from Steiner, so am I right that it is that few minutes shorter from Lakeway to the Airport or do you drive different routes?

Different routes, I'd say. Steiner should be quicker to the airport, but it also depends on traffic. You must have taken 620 to 71 to the airport. From Steiner, I'd take 2222 east all the way past I35 then take 183/71 the last couple of miles to the airport.

Actually I simply take 620 to 2222 to 360 S. to 290 E until it becomes 71/Ben White and then you are there in a couple more miles! It takes me about 38 minutes without traffic. I fly out at times to avoid the 7:30AM-8:45AM issues on 620/2222 and 360 S. when the traffic is slower.

Thanks! My husband would probably also travel off peak as he usually fly no later than 8am, which means he needs to be at the Airport no later than 7am. He will drive back home later in the evening as well as he still needs to work at least 1/2 day at the client site before returning home.

If I was coming from lakeway I would take 620 south, 71 east, i would take southwest parkway instead of going through the Y, to mopac/290 to airport and takes about 35 minutes.

I always take the route FromCalitoSteinerRanch mentioned. I think that's the best one from Steiner.
