We had fantastic rain last month. Unfortunately now we are having problems with wasps and hornets. They kept trying to build nests in our dog kennel. Our dogs put up a fight trying not get into the kennel. We have knocked down, sprayed nest but they keep rebuilding the nest. Help!!!

wasp and hornet spray works well (Home Depot). It shoots 20 feet. Soak the nest at sunrise or sunset. Kills the bugs instantly and anything growing in the nest. I use the Spectracide. Leave the nest in place.

+1 ^^ this. I have the best luck spraying at sunrise. That way you get more of the pesky buggers.

'tis the season. They're looking for shady out of the way places to build their nests. They like my oleanders.

You just have to be careful doing outdoor chores. Before starting look under eaves, beat the bushes (lightly) with a stick, and just watch. I've never had any problems with them once the hive's been knocked down.
