I'm moving to Albuquerque in August, and I don't know anyone that currently lives there and would appreciate any opinions you could give me.
Could you please give recommendations of your favorite areas you love/would love to live in?

Any recommendations on apartment complexes? Thoughts on Mountain Run on Eubank or River Walk/La Paz apartments on Calle Cuervo NW? Or do you have any apartment complexes that you know of that you would recommend?

I would'nt mind being in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho or Corrales... so please give advice on any of these areas.

Thank you so much!!

Mountain Run is nice and in a nice part of town. I would recommend that if it is one of your top choices.

Corrales is a really neat area. I don't know of any complexes there but you may be able to find a house for rent.

Default Apartments

I lived in Apartments for many years. I've also been to most of the apts on the East side of Alb. including Mountain Run. Mountain Run is decent for the money and if I remember correctly they have wash/dryer. If you can afford a little more I recommend La Mirage just north of Mountain Run on Eubank and Academy. They have large open floor plans with great balconies. I lived there for a few years and it was so quiet and peaceful. The River Walk/La Paz is very nice and that area is neat because it is right next to so many things including the mall but tucked away so you feel secluded. I never lived there but the apartments are very nice. The best dollar for what you get would be Oak Tree Park on Osuna/San Mateo, they have wash/dryer, a little older, but big floor plans (the two bed 1 bath has a strange floorplan) but the one bed one bath is large, upstairs you get the vaulted ceilings and many have brick fireplaces.

Thank you for the replies, I appriciate it. It's kinda tough because we're going to have to choose a place to live without seeing it in person first. I really do think the La Mirage looks really nice, I will add that and Oak Tree Park to my list of choices as well, thanks

had a friend live a La Mirage last year and one who currently lives at Mountain Run. both thought the places they lived/live are fine. I think you'd be okay at either place.
